Pancreatin is a blend of three enzymes:

How does Pancreatin work?
Pancreatin works in the digestive tract, where it:

The dietary supplement Pancreatin comes in the form of an AR (acid-resistant) capsule. An acid-resistant capsule is designed not to dissolve in the acidic environment of the stomach, but later – usually in the intestine where the pH is higher. What is the 4NF Standard?
● The 4NF standard according to the US Pharmacopeia guarantees defined and verified enzymatic activity in every batch. The capsule is made of HPMC with an acid-resistant (AR) coating – the enzymes pass through stomach acid (pH 1–3) and are released exactly where needed: in the small intestine at pH 6–7. 4NF for digestive enzymes usually indicates that the raw material complies with USP–NF (United States Pharmacopeia – National Formulary) standards, meaning a pharmaceutical quality standard for purity and enzymatic activity. For digestive enzymes, the designation “4NF” is used as a technical specification of enzyme quality and activity.
