How AcidoFit® works

AcidoFit® combines an alkaline formulation with minerals, vitamins and plant extracts that support important bodily functions, particularly during increased physical exertion.

How are acids most commonly produced in the body? +

Acids are produced naturally during metabolism. Their production is also increased by insufficient fluid intake (fluids dilute acids in the body), a lack of physical activity (acids are exhaled less effectively through the lungs), eating in a hurry or inadequately chewed food, fasting, excessive consumption of protein (uric acid) and drinks containing CO₂, intense muscular exertion (lactic acid) and prolonged stress.

What role do vitamins and plant extracts play? +

Vitamins B1, B2, B6 and B12 contribute to normal energy metabolism, while vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism. Vitamins C, E and B2 contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, folate and vitamin B12 to the normal function of the immune system, and biotin to the maintenance of normal hair, mucous membranes and skin. Green tea extract has an antioxidant effect against free radicals, while aloe vera and alfalfa extracts support detoxification and the body’s natural defences.

Why does the tablet dissolve more slowly? +

The slower dissolution is caused by the alkaline formulation of AcidoFit®. The tablet is only gently effervescent – place it in 250 – 300 ml of clean water, allow it to dissolve completely, stir and drink.

What is AcidoFit® MD?+

AcidoFit® MD is a vitamin and mineral drink in the form of a gently effervescent tablet. It has an alkaline formulation and is a suitable addition to your daily fluid intake.

How do I prepare AcidoFit®?+

Place 1 tablet in 250 – 300 ml of clean water, allow it to dissolve completely, stir and drink.

Why does the tablet dissolve more slowly than standard effervescent tablets?+

The slower dissolution is caused by the product’s alkaline formulation. The tablet is therefore only gently effervescent – simply wait for a moment and stir the drink before consuming it.

How many tablets can I take per day?+

Adults may take 1 – 4 tablets daily, while children aged 7 and over may take 1 – 2 tablets daily. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Is AcidoFit® suitable for children?+

Yes, it is suitable for children aged 7 and over at a dose of 1 – 2 tablets daily. It is not intended for children under 7 years of age.

How can I tell whether my urine pH is low?+

You can easily measure your urine pH using litmus paper – it is included in the AcidoFit® MD MIX package (100 pcs). As the values change throughout the day depending on your diet and fluid intake, take repeated measurements at different times of the day. If the measured value is lower than 5, AcidoFit® may be a suitable choice for you.

Is it suitable for vegans, people with coeliac disease and people with diabetes?+

Yes. AcidoFit® is vegan and free from gluten, lactose and soy. It is sweetened with sucralose, and one tablet contains only 0,75 g of carbohydrates, making it suitable for people with diabetes as well.

Can I drink AcidoFit® after exercise?+

Yes. After strenuous physical activity, it helps replenish minerals and vitamins – calcium, magnesium and potassium contribute to normal muscle function, while magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Does AcidoFit® contain caffeine?+

Green tea extract may contain a small amount of naturally occurring caffeine. Sensitive individuals should take this into account, particularly when using it in the evening.

Which flavours are available?+

AcidoFit® MD is available in raspberry, grapefruit-lemon, orange-lime and kiwi flavours. A MIX package with different flavours and litmus paper for measuring urine pH is also available.

Acidofit prevents the formation of cramps because replenishes all important minerals in the body. Before more demanding sports performance, when there is a greater presumption of muscle cramps, at least 2-3 tablets a day are recommended on the last days before the race.
